September 27, 2018-Ankara Chamber of Commerce (ACC) Chairman Gürsel Baran visited the Ambassador of Tanzania, H.E. Elizabeth K. Kiondo.
Baran conveyed his condolences to those who died as a result of the capsize of the ferry in Victoria Lake, and exchanged views on the development of trade relations with Tanzania.
ACC Chairman Baran was accompanied by Deputy Chairmans Mr. Halil İbrahim Yılmaz and Temel Aktay, and Board Member of ACC Edip Balcı.
"Relations with Tanzania have made progress in recent years and we closely follow developments in Tanzania" said Mr Baran. "We are very much saddened by the deaths of more than 200 people in the ferry accident on September 20" and said, 'As ACC, we share your pain and we're ready to do whatever fall onto us to ease the pain of survivors"
